A studio shaped
around people.

Habitable Spaces works out of Ludhiana, across Punjab and the wider North. We take on a limited number of projects so that each one gets the same attention — in the drawing and on site.

Our approach

Creativity, with compassion.

We believe you deserve the best for your home or your business — and that “best” is not a style. It is the right plan for your site, your family, your work and your budget.

Our work runs from architectural planning to interior design and construction management. We use drawings, 3D modelling and material samples so you can see the decision before you commit to it, rather than discovering it after the plaster is dry.

Most of our work comes from people who have already built with us, or from someone they know. That is the standard we are trying to keep.

What we hold to
01

Draw it before you build it

Every material, dimension and junction gets resolved on paper. Site improvisation is where budgets go.

02

Build for the climate

Punjab summers and monsoon are design conditions, not background. Shade, cross-ventilation and durable surfaces come first.

03

Stay accountable

The people who draw the project are the people who run it. One team, one standard, from sketch to handover.

Founder

Ar. Harmandeep Singh

Principal Architect

Harmandeep Singh is the founder and principal architect of Habitable Spaces. His work covers architectural planning and interior design across commercial and residential projects, largely in North India, with over seven years in practice.

He stays involved from the first concept through to completion — a role that keeps the studio’s drawings honest, because the person who drew them is also the person answering questions on site.

The studio’s one-stop approach is deliberate: whether you are a developer, a contractor, another designer, or building your own home for the first time, you should not have to coordinate four separate specialists to get one room finished.
